BOL ISLAND BRAČ

Bol is the most famous tourist resort on island Brac. Bol is located in the southern part of the island. Bol today has about 1700 inhabitants.
Bol is the oldest coastal settlement on the island Brac. The first inhabitants settled on it in the 15th century. The inhabitants engaged in agriculture, fishing and cattle breeding. Only in the second half of the 20th century gradually engaged in tourism.
Bol became famous first for its beach Zlatni rat, which is certainly among the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast, if not the most beautiful. The beach is a pebble cape about 1km long. It is known for the fact that changes shape depending on the winds that blow. Prestigious Daily Telegraph recently reported Zlatni Rat in Bol the finest beach in Europe and together with the seaside resort city of Dubrovnik Banja beach is listed among the ten most beautiful in the world.
Today Bol is a popular gathering place for youth and surfers.
Bol sports:
Tennis - Bol has about 20 tennis courts.
Windsurfing and kitesurfing - Bol is almost ideal for these sports, because in Brac-Hvar channel blows almost a perfect mistral.
Diving: Bol offers diving courses, diving equipment and guides to underwater sites.
Climbing: Bol is situated below Vidova Gora (778) where it provides an excellent view of the islands of Brac and Hvar, and when there is good visibility, much, much more.

Bol night life: Disco FACES - has a terrace with a large dance floor for 2000 visitors. During the summer performances by famous musicians, DJs and fashion events. Cocktail bar Varadero and Aquarius (a favorite gathering place for surfers).
Bol how to get there:Ferry Split-Supetar and another 39 kilometers by car. Ferry Makarska-Sumartin and another 29 kilometers by car. Plane - Brac has an airport.
